Job Description: Amazon Lab126 is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to build internal applications and tools to support the security team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the highest standards for software development, this position will give you the opportunity to work with talented software and security engineers to design and build scalable and reliable solutions to efficiently triage security bugs and create reporting dashboards for the team and senior management. You will also have the opportunity to build automation tools to enhance the detection of security-related bugs. From time to time, you may also be involved with smaller engineering projects as needed in the Digital Security team. Job Responsibilities: Participate in code reviews Process bug reports and apply patches Document and provide training to members of the security team Support the security team in code analysis Design and implement high quality, stable and scalable web applications Develop client-side tools that connect with web services Participate in agile processes Follow security-best practices in all software development Job Requirements: You enjoy working in a team that follows Agile practices and embraces unit testing, code reviews, and CI 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience Hands-on experience working with Linux or similar OSes Master’s degree in Computer Science You have a positive can-do attitude and can adapt to any challenge and willing to take ownership of problems and bring issues to full resolution Experience working in the AWS environment Programming experience with at least one software programming language. 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
