Job Description: The Cyber Security Advisor, under minimal supervision, provides leadership in creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implement and support technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems. Working with Corporate Information Security group- develops quarter-by-quarter Information Security Focus Areas including Vulnerability Remediation, Tool Rollout, Awareness Communications and Security Workshops. Validate that secure coding methods are embedded into the software development process to ensure code released to production is adequately protected. Provide in depth knowledge of Network Security Design Principles, Segmentation and Vulnerability Management for Network Devices. Assist in secure design and maintenance of warehouse management and operational systems including access and authorization, logging, intrusion prevention, vulnerability management and disaster recovery. Work with internal network engineering team to deliver current state reporting and future state roadmap of network security. Assist in driving effective and defensible security design for operational systems including firewall design, two factor authentication, role-based access, logging and monitoring. Map specific security gaps/flaws back to a risk level and articulate appropriate risk mitigation strategy.
