Job Description: The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Data Platforms is accountable for creating a future technology & architecture blueprint that is aligned to Subway's business strategy. This role will coordinate with Solution Architects across the IT ecosystem to ensures that all IT initiatives are aligned with the technology vision and advancing the architectural roadmap. This role will also will be responsible for engaging with senior business and technology leadership across Subway to understand data needs and deliver best-in-class data platform solutions to drive business results. This leader will create multiyear road maps to modernized our Data Platforms to support our franchisees, customers, and internal stakeholders. This leader will establish clear and practical data architecture and engineering practices for data platform project implementations and create standardized approaches to data intake and processing while supporting flexibility of businesses. Job Responsibilities: Attract, recruit and lead industry top talent in Enterprise Architecture and Data Platform modernization Define and deliver reference architecture, design patterns, cloud strategy and software development best practices for the IT organization. Direct management of enterprise architecture team and coordination with solutions architects to ensure initiatives implement with proper considerations for security/application vulnerability, development standards and architectural frameworks The Enterprise Architecture team to collaborate with business and technology leadership to understand the Subway business strategy for each domain and establish a target state architecture Advance emerging data product capabilities including real-time streaming, machine learning and advance analytics in partnership with various analytics and technology groups Oversee the Data Platform team to build a modern data platform environment focused on delivering information to the business and driving forward modernized capabilities for personalization, digital marketing, and forward thinking efforts Create and deliver next generation capabilities around ingestion, analysis, reporting, data engineering and business intelligence tools. Data Engineering and Technical Delivery – Responsible for overseeing the data engineering team to build and maintain a resilient, robust, and scalable enterprise data foundation, including data integration pipelines, data lake/warehouse, master and reference data, governance tooling, security and privacy framework implementation Job Requirements: 12 years' of relevant experience; 5 years' of people management experience Highly effective collaborator able to build cross-functional teams and communicate at all levels of the organization Change agent capable of driving cultural and technical change throughout the organization Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science Required; Master's preferred Expert level knowledge of modernized data platform solutions preferably in retail or hospitality industry An ability to effectively influence others through partnership and coaching to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors An ability to cultivate and build collaborative working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders Proven leader, with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire product management & development teams Experience leading Enterprise Architecture function focusing on building out reference architectures and target state architectures Job Details: Company: Subway Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Milford, CT, USA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
