Job Description: As the Payroll Analyst, you will perform standard tasks to establish and maintain payroll records. You will respond to more challenging payroll issues, identify operational trends within assigned area of work, identify root causes and provide recommendations for process improvements. You will be responsible for leveraging subject matter knowledge to ensure integration and consistency of practices across the operation. Job Responsibilities: Serve as point of contact for the payroll accounting team on cross-functional work between payroll and payroll accounting Support with garnishment and ROE processing Perform audits on data and system maintenance, including, but not limited to new hire set up, tax forms processing, timekeeping input, direct deposit set up, benefits set up, terminations, and garnishments processing Provide client support to all areas of the organization which can include, but is not limited to, payroll processing, ticket management, issue trend analysis, and project related work Manage and coordinate all Canada payroll remittances, run appropriate control reports, and process the balancing on a bi-weekly basis Follow and maintain internal control policies, procedures, and compliance with respect to the payroll process, including, but not limited to pay policies, payroll calendars, payroll checklists, process maps and other procedural documentation Complete on- and off-cycle payroll processing activities, for multi-jurisdictional payrolls across Canada accurately, timely, and efficiently in compliance with all federal and provincial regulatory requirements Support with year-end related tasks and client requests (e.g., data issue resolution, T4 & RL-1 generation) Job Requierments: Exposure and knowledge of complex HR processes that impact payroll Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy Interpersonal and client service skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and to deal tactfully and courteously with business partners and clients when explaining the functions and policies of Payroll Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all organizational levels Knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce or similar time & attendance and payroll cloud-applications Strong knowledge of employment standards, and taxation related to payroll Organizational and planning skills, including being able to work reliably and efficiently under demanding deadlines with minimal supervisionAnalytical, and problem-solving skills, including intermediate Excel skills and demonstrated ability of analyzing and presenting data Job Details: Company: Sephora Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location:Toronto, Ontario, Canada Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
