Job Description: Pembina Calgary office is recruiting for a Supervisor, Revenue Accounting, to join the Controllers group. This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Accounting in the Conventional Business Unit, (CBU), part of Pembina’s Pipelines Division. Job Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with other groups in preparation of the future performance obligation schedule; Maintain internal control processes and documentation; Participate and support in an equitable diverse an inclusive work environment. Assist monthly revenue invoicing in accordance with contractual terms; Prepare revenue and volume variance analysis including narrative write ups for monthly Scorecard; Prepare monthly revenue entries in accordance to IFRS 15 including Make-up Rights provision, deferred revenue, contract liabilities and revenue disaggregation; Special projects as required; Maintain comprehensive excel spreadsheets for contracted parties to determine annual settlements; Provide leadership and visible commitment and engagement with employees including timely goal setting, clear guidance, and performance management for the revenue accounting team to continually enhance the employment experience of all Pembina employees and be an Employer of Choice; Liaise with key members of the Business Unit including Contracts, Logistics, Business Development and Commercial Services to ensure the accuracy of invoices; Champion process improvement and maintain internal control documentation; and Assist with analysis and reporting for IFRS accounting standards; Communicate and collaborate with customers to address queries and collection matters; Job Requirements: Demonstrated ability to improve processes - including develop, document, and implement processes and procedures; Proven experience with and understanding of IFRS 15, would be an asset; Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and dead-line driven environment; Experience with SAP, PowerBi, and software implementation would be considered an asset; and Motivated self-starter who performs well independently and within a team environment; ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities; Experience in oil and gas, and specifically midstream/pipeline industry would be considered an asset.
