Job Description: As a Manager II, Accounting, you'll manage complex, varied accounting functions. You'll develop Partners who perform accounting functions, including preparation and timely presentation of financial reports and thorough analysis. You'll serve as subject matter expert and set goals for your department, while developing, coaching, and inspiring your team. Job Responsibilities: Meets with business leaders of assigned area to assist in resolving day-to-day issues that may impact financial results Coaches, mentors, develops, mentors, and inspires assigned team Identifies major issues and trends in financial / operating reports; recognizes their general implications for the business; evaluates business opportunities to make strategic choices that effectively mitigate financial risks and leverage trends Communicates with / presents to a wide variety of audiences at all levels Builds a vision for the future for Partners, customers, and technology; translates the vision to strategy, supporting programs, and milestones; applies understanding of requirements to meet objects and implements / leads change Leads development and career path planning for subordinates Manages multiple work groups responsible for accounting functions and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results Builds customer solutions; recognizes the span of choices to solve most needs; selects appropriate choice in each circumstance; understands materiality, speed to delivery, urgency, and risks Integrates information from various sources to gain a broad understanding of issues and align people, systems, processes, and plans to achieve the greatest impact on H-E-B Job Requirements: Advanced MS Office and software skills, including database management, spreadsheets, and graphics Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail Advanced time-management skills Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials Ability to confidently communicate at all levels of management / leadership and Partners Strong management / Advanced verbal / written communication skills Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory accounting practices Ability to apply a solid understanding of customers and their needs to work processes Qualification & Experience: 5+ years supervisory experience 10+ years of experience in accounting / finance field Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field experience in accounting / finance, and in a supervisory capacity Job Details: Company: H-E-B Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Sweetwater, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
