Job Description:

Amazon is hiring a Principal Product Manager (Technical) to invent the future of Alexa on mobile phones for millions of customers worldwide. As the number of mobile phone customers who use Alexa through the Alexa mobile app, mobile accessories, and Alexa built-in phones continues to grow, this role will deliver must have features and invent new reasons for customers to love Alexa on their phones.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing prioritization and trade-offs to ensure delivery of a great customer experience
• Evaluating the business opportunity and application of new and emerging technologies
• Leading cross-functionally to ensure the product vision is implemented effectively
• Translating customer experiences into clearly defined product requirements
• Generating buy-in for the product vision with leadership and partner teams
• Defining new products and services that drive Alexa engagement and retention
• Creating and maintaining an optimized and logically sequenced roadmap
• Anticipating and resolving strategic issues that impair the team’s ability to deliver

Job Requirements:

• Analytical aptitude and data-driven problem solving abilities
  Strong persuasion skills and ability to create buy-in for a bold vision
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Strategic product acumen and proven ability to define a winning business strategy
• Experience with agile/Scrum software development
• Experience shipping ML, natural language or voice-based products
• Experience creating product specifications, performing competitive analysis, and/or market research
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience defining developer facing tools and services
• 8+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to senior executive audiences
• MBA from top-tier school
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
