Job Description:

Do you want to build analytics solutions to drive safety and great customer experiences for Amazon’s Last Mile operation? The Service Level Standards Analytics team designs, builds and manages the performance and safety metrics for thousands of Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) across North America. We’re building out new analytics solutions, like visualization tools, data pipelines, automation, and statistical approaches to drive business performance and become Amazon’s best BI team. We’re looking for an experienced leader who’s comfortable leading technical teams to build new analytical solutions using AWS tools. Job Responsibilities:

• Create a vision and roadmap for data infrastructure, automation, and analytical tools to drive a step change in our processes and analytical capabilities
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis by automating or simplifying self-service analytics for customers
• Lead quality assurance and automation by setting up processes for code reviews, quality checks, and data alarms
• Set the standard for BI team best practices like best-in-class documentation
• Lead complex data analysis to gain insights into performance
• Create new statistical/ML approaches to improve our business insights
• Dive in when needed to write code, set up data pipelines, and create data visualizations for our stakeholders
• Manage a team of Business Intelligence Engineers, including developing team members and prioritizing work
• Lead and automate key weekly business processes

Job Requirements:

• Experience with AWS services and building data pipelines
• Experience designing data architecture
• Knowledge of statistical approaches to data analysis
• Experience in ETL
• 5+ years of successful business intelligence or analytics team management experience, including employee development, performance management, and delivering results
• Proficiency with scripting language (e.g. Python)
• 7+ years of professional experience in business intelligence and analytics
• Experience building machine learning models
• Experience in SQL
