Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining and prioritizing our backlog of outstanding feature requests for our internal tools to provide maximum value to multiple stakeholders throughout AWS.
• Assist customers and Technical Trainers as an escalation point with any and all technical issues related to running lab environments from our Instructor Led Training course catalog (30+ courses, 100+ labs) and our Self-Paced Lab catalog (100+ labs). You will develop and use your technical knowledge of the AWS platform to resolve customer issues with lab content, as well as to resolve issues with the underlying lab hosting platform itself.
• Propose and develop new tools and technologies that simplify the publication, monitoring and maintenance of AWS training curriculum.
• Assist Curriculum Developers and other Subject Matter Experts with the use of our curriculum publication tools.
• Build solutions that automate and scale a growing curriculum development organization.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of administration tasks for both Linux and Windows operating system
• 5+ years or more experience in providing technical support which adheres to a strict service level agreement (including triage and resolution)
• 5+ years knowledge of designing/building a three tier web based architecture.
• 5+ years demonstrated knowledge with the concepts of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of two or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, JavaScript)
• 5+ years or more experience in developing solutions that provide automation to enables teams to work more efficiently and effectively
• 5+ years or more experience in IT as a Systems Administrator, Software Developer or Software Engineer
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 8+ years equivalent professional experience in the IT industry as Systems Admin, Software Developer or Software Engineer
• 5+ years of application development experience
  Achieved one or more active AWS certifications
