Job Description:

Amazon is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to help pioneer the reporting framework for an emerging Transportation business. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will own the reporting roadmap, strategy, and infrastructure for our Marketing and Sales initiatives, globally. You will partner with and understand the needs of geographically-dispersed leads. You will develop and manage a feature roadmap that contains near, medium, and long-term enhancements. You will advise the BI lead and stakeholders on the milestones and associated prioritization. Collectively, your work will enable the business to drive better business decisions, and empower stakeholders to understand their business and customers in new ways.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders that span job level and function
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data and experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or equivalent experience
• Inquisitive mindset, with proven problem solving ability, and a passion for big data
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Excellent working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining using complex SQL.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries
