Job Description:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, creative and analytical Senior Talent Producer who excels at working cross-functionally to identify new opportunities, negotiation, and implementing strategic ideas and processes at the program level. As a Senior Talent Producer on the Amazon Live team, you will work with both internal and external clients to identify and secure top tier creators for Amazon Live streams, communicate the benefits of the Live program to relevant stakeholders, and deep dive performance to optimize content. In addition, you’ll collaborate with members of our agile team, including production, marketing, engineering, UX design, finance and advertising to grow the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing ongoing relationships with talent and key internal and external partners including agents, managers, publicists, and other representatives.
- Writing and pitching proposals for new formats, concepts, and approaches
- Establishing scalable processes and strategies around talent recruitment and development
- Identifying and booking talent for daily streams
- Overseeing a talent budget and working with finance and leadership to report spend and gain approvals when necessary
- Analyzing performance metrics and using data to drive improvement
- Negotiating deals with external clients, liaising with legal to craft terms and conditions
Job Requirements:
- Strong capability to manage a production budget and schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to unlock growth opportunities
- 7+ years of experience as a creative executive
- Broadcast TV/Digital experience
- A proven track record of identifying, booking, and developing talent, either as an independent consultant or within a production company, digital media outlet, TV network and/or film studio.
- Strong working relationships with the creative community – network of talent, representatives, agencies, producers, writers and creators.
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Livestream-adjacent experience preferred
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
- Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs
- Ability to use data to measure success, benchmark against objectives, and determine high level strategic goals
