Job Description:

Ever wondered how Amazon offers the Earth’s biggest selection and still manages to offer lower prices every day to our customers? Our business teams work with a massive array of sellers and business financial performance metrics to expand selection and drive costs lower. Given the rapid growth of our business, this requires our category leaders, financial analysts, site merchandisers and vendor managers to quickly analyze sellers, categories and brands, diving deep into data showing business efficiency down to the unit sale level. The technology that enables this has huge visibility and impact and is critical to Amazon’s continued profitability and growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the long-term vision for products.
• Be able to manage multiple projects – including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple organizations to understand their business strategies and translate those into product features.
• Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps and work closely with developers through product launch.
• Prioritize features and requirements.
• Be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-obsessed and team oriented.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into deliverable features.
• Communicate complex product concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
• Be able to identify customer requirements by considering data, customer feedback, and user research.

Job Requirements:

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
• Strong analytic skills.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner.
• Master’s degree.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative to develop product strategies.
• 4+ years in product management is required.
• Competence with SQL (basic queries).
