Job Description: This role analyzes trends in key business metrics with the objective of delivering accurate, timely & actionable campaigns to loyalty customers and insights to key stakeholders in the business including Senior Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Category Management, Finance & Retail Operations. Job Responsibilities: Continuously assess and validate customer data to ensure accuracy of reports used for critical decision-making processes Frequently acts as a first point of contact for insight support for key stakeholders in Merchandising, Category Management & Marketing, responding in a timely and effective manner to all requests Champions the integration of customer insights from campaigns into business processes and proactively evaluates customer data to provide solutions and inform business decisions Collaborates with key functional areas across the business unit including Merchandising, Category Management, Marketing, Finance & Operations to capture analytics requirements and deploy customer insights into everyday decision making Perform ad-hoc queries, customer analysis and other analytical functions to support critical decision-making processes of the Marketing & Merchandising teams Performs the necessary data preparation for loyalty weekly campaigns (universe selection, scrubbing data, checking data…) Design standardized reporting and graphic visualizations (Tableau) of key sales metrics and trends to support the effective use of this information by key stakeholders in decision making Develops and performs post-campaign analysis on multi-channel promotions and/or special events, and provide insight and recommendations based on findings Directly communicate campaign insights and analysis to stakeholders, identifying key results, impact to business, assess performance against objectives and enabling stakeholders with information which allows for continuous improvement Job Requirements: Ability to meet dynamic and challenging deadlines Experience interpreting data and explaining analytical concepts to individuals with varying analytical backgrounds Superior communication skills (both oral and written) Ability to work independently and within a team Experience with Cloud Environment, specifically Databricks and Azure is a big asset High level of comfort with relational databases and working with large and complex datasets to generate insights Experience working with visualization environments like Tableau or Google Data Studio Proficient in Data Bricks, Python, or Synapse Proficient in MS suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) Highly proficient with SAS and/or ability to adapt experience with other SQL tools to use of SAS Enterprise Guide Qualification & Experience: 5+ years of experience with SAS and/or SAS EG Working knowledge of star schema databases Strong background in data mining and/or statistical modeling Job Details: Company: Sobeys Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Mississauga, ON, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
