Job Description: Troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration—manufacturing equipment and systems. Responsible to keep air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturing equipment and systems functioning properly. Responsible for process knowledge of all air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturing equipment process controls. Work requires the ability to be cross-functional in duties performed on manufacturing equipment and systems. This position is responsible to work safely and promote safety consciousness among other employees. The principle challenge of this position is to bring the plant air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturing equipment and systems to a higher level of reliability and to reduce downtime. Job Responsibilities: Position requires a diagnostic thought process to: Minimize down time Address quality issues Eliminate repeat trouble calls Position requires the ability to: Research technical information on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems Remain up-to-date with technological changes on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems Position requires building a relationship with vendors, suppliers and contractors to: Keep abreast of what is new in the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems field Attend seminars and classes offsite Gathering information on assigned projects, start-ups, modifications, new installations, and work orders Position requires above average skills in human relations and communications.
