Playing a key role within the management team of our new Local Fulfilment Centre, reporting into the Site Manager, you will provide strong leadership across the operation to ensure a safe, efficient, and first-class service is delivered to our customers by responding to customer demands and changing volume. You should have the ability to successfully lead a large diverse team in a complex unionised Warehouse and Transport environment; be an inspirational leader, with the ability to engage and motivate colleagues at all levels and have strong coaching, leadership, and succession planning skills.
Ideally, you will have experience of a Warehouse or Retail operation with a knowledge of multi drop delivery and customer final mile delivery. You should have a proven track record of delivering key performance indicators to meet budgetary requirements and achieving an optimum cost to serve.

The centre is a 24-hour operation so there are various shift patterns available, including nights.
