Job Description:

The successful person will be responsible for assisting with the management and operational delivery and management of the SBAFS Crisis and Business Incident Management framework. Working closely with Operation and IT Functions, you will be ensuring effective and appropriate incident co-ordination and communication and also be responsible for identifying customer impact and managing remediation activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as an SME point of contact for all incidents and therefore, provide effective and positive internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Support and coordinate the business response to incidents, working closely with IT Incident Management and Business stakeholders.
  • Manage and support the design and delivery of Crisis and Incident Management framework ensuring that incidents are managed in line with agreed governance and process.
  • Support Crisis and incident management training and awareness programmes; providing hands-on guidance and support to each business area.
  • Support and coordinate remediation activity where appropriate to ensure customers are restored to correct position
  • Provide / Produce daily, monthly and periodic reporting and trend analysis, and reporting to support a variety of risk, incident, and problem functions
  • Deputise for the Senior Event and Incident Resolution Manager.
  • Support Post Incident Reviews and track management actions through to completion.
  • Identify, review and initiate actions in response to incident trends.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to operate calmly under pressure with a complex and diverse stakeholder environment, whilst building and maintaining effective management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially under pressure.
  • Experience in Customer Resolution, Incident Management, Business Continuity or Risk management is preferable
  • Ensure compliant outcomes and fair customer treatment for all incidents and system issues with a customer impact

  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent team player with ability to working closely with others to deliver results
