Job Description:

You will work collaboratively with Sainsbury’s and Nectar360 teams to execute customer-centric activity for our suppliers across Sainsbury’s Digital platforms and deliver our shared commercial business plans. You will be responsible for your share of online supplier revenue; the exact value will be dependent on your alignment to a Food Commercial Business Unit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively provide eCommerce Client Director with regular updates client, project, and revenue status
  • Work collaboratively with Sainsbury’s suppliers to understand their activation plans, prioritise activity and support them in delivering the optimum execution across Sainsbury’s Digital
  • Positioned in the Nectar360 Client Services team you will work with the broader Nectar360 team to engage suppliers and sell digital media and other activity within the guardrails defined by the Trading and Planning team
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key trading colleagues to ensure we optimise our key supplier’s annual or ad hoc Digital investment and track their spend against these commitments
  • Work collaboratively with key category suppliers, Digital colleagues and Nectar360 teams to review performance, investment, and strategy
  • Management and delivery of Supplier media and activation for the categories within your business unit across Sainsbury’s relevant Digital platforms

Job Requirements:

  • Great planning and prioritising skills to deliver plans to deadline
  • Computer literate
  • Relevant previous client management experience, ideally in retail or FMCG
  • Line Management experience
  • Strong communication & presentations skills
  • Experience of building and delivering plans aligned to the corporate strategy
  • High level of customer focus and ability to work with others
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development
  • Managing regular ambiguity with support of your manager
  • Experience working with an online retailer and using online analytics
  • Gradually taking on responsibilities outside your comfort zone with support of your manager
  • A can-do attitude that accepts change in a fast-moving environment.
  • Understanding the overall strategy
  • Commercial acumen to deliver on our commercial plan
  • A good negotiator, able to satisfy varying needs in the face of conflicting demands.
  • Experience working in a fast moving and pressured environment
  • Ability to manage projects on time and to budget
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Effectively communicating and building trust to execute on an agenda to get traction within and outside your team
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
