Job Description:
As a Barclays Client Relationship Manager within Operations Client Services (OCS) you will be responsible for executing our Client Advocacy strategy as well as direct operations relationship management of a high profile group of clients. You will have oversight of strategic / focus client interaction, perform in-depth analysis of data across of our core processing Service Measures suite and will include providing a view on the ‘voice of client’ back to internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing coverage and acting as an Advocate for a set of high profile, demanding clients, across asset class and functions for the Prime Brokerage businesses
- Managing client escalation activity related to Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage products, as well as OTC, Futures and FX Clearing, ensuring daily activity is processed
- Identifying inter/intra system exceptions stemming from breakdowns in trade lifecycle processing, and escalate/investigate/resolve root cause as appropriate
- Being responsible for utilisation of a suite of internal client analytics, to regularly measure service provision data to compare vs our client’s service expectations
- Delivering formal Broker Reviews and frequent checkpoints with a variety of top tier Prime Brokerage clients (in partnership with senior team leads)
- Leveraging industry experience and partnering with SME’s to provide client education services through publications and workshops as appropriate
- Helping to guide the organisation’s strategic decisions through a client lens (client advocacy)
Job Requirements:
- Significant financial markets operations exposure / previous client facing experience in an Investment Banking Operations
- Prime brokerage experience and/or trade flow knowledge; including trade capture, trade enrichment, trade event management and settlement processing.
- Solid PowerPoint, Excel & MIS skills and experience of regular presentations to large or senior groups internally and externally
- Good data analysis skills, including data visualisations, articulation of patterns / trends evidenced through the daily / weekly / monthly use of service measurement
- Previous use of Tableau, Qlik View, Sales Force, Alteryx, CRUD DB
- Product knowledge in Fixed income, Cash Equities, Derivatives, FX preferred
- Experience in post trade services
