Job Description: The Business of Fashion is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and curious Social Media Associate to be an integral part of our growing global Editorial team. Working very closely with the Social Media Editor, you will primarily be accountable for the creation of daily social media posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. You therefore have worked in social media before, have strong writing / copywriting skills, are able to create and source imagery to accompany the social posts and are an analytical thinker. Finally, you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks at once and enjoy collaborating internally with the Studio, Marketing and Commercial teams. Job Responsibilities: Translate BoF's global editorial content by writing strong and eloquent captions for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Source appropriate imagery to illustrate editorial content on the different social media platforms by using image platforms such as Getty or Shutterstock or by creating imagery yourself by using Photoshop. Schedule social content by using tools such as Sprout Social, Later or other social media scheduling tools. Work with the Marketing and Commercial teams to deliver a variety of BoF projects, various social promotions and Commercial obligations, incl. Events. Assist the Social Media Editor with community management by monitoring and responding to comments. Respond to breaking news outside of working hours. Develop new ideas and initiatives to grow the BoF community Job Requirements: Good knowledge of Photoshop. Good comprehension of social media metrics to use analytics to build meaningful reports. Qualification & Experience: You have prior experience in social media, have written for a media publication and have strong design skills. You have professional experience with working with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn and you have a good understanding of social media metrics and analysis. You are keen and dedicated to work in a fast-paced global Editorial environment and a flexible mindset about responding to breaking news outside of office hours.
