The Data, Analytics & Insights Office is transforming Openreach into a data-driven enterprise, proactive insight is at the heart of our decision making fuelled by the democratisation of data and improved data literacy of our people. We are building constant access to critical data and you will have the ability to question, hypothesise, test and learn from our data. Simply put, we are empowering every person in Openreach to always make the very best possible decision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Owning the relationship between an Operational Director and our Data Analytics & Insight office, ensuring their business needs are being championed and delivered
- Being the voice of your customer in the data office and having a broad strategic knowledge of your Operational Directorate
- Making priority calls with our data office resourcing function, engaging with Senior leaders across our Service Delivery function
- Intervening where business failure is present, designing and delivering solutions with the our data teams
- Leading change across Service Delivery and the data team to deliver the right solution for our operational customers in a cost-effective way
- Owning the data strategy for your Operational Director, creating a portfolio of data products, services and assets to deliver change and identifying opportunities where the data office can deliver value through improving service
Job Requirements:
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with bringing structure to ambiguity in a ever-changing landscape
- Experience of working in an operational or consultative environment
- Excellent analytical skills, passionate about using data to deliver insights to enable challenging decisions
- Confident with senior stakeholder relationships, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinker able to simplify and articulate complex challenges to create an inspirational narrative
