Job Description:

The Associate Customer Service Representative performs regional customer service related duties and carries out the major responsibilities for all SOX reports, billing, payroll, and collections for multiple districts. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks associated with daily and monthly (including SOX) reports to ensure accurate accounting of operational activity.
  • Provide customer service via all communication channels (written and verbal) addressing customer requests or inquiries concerning services, water quality and billing concerns.
  • Perform billing related tasks to ensure correct customer billing. Review and approve sample bills.
  • Organize and schedule service delivery, billing, and collections.
  • Document work orders, respond to customer emails and update customer accounts.
  • Communicate with outside agencies and departments for service efforts.
  • Provide customers with information regarding Company programs and services.
  • Process customer service paperwork as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • An Associate CSR must be able to communicate effectively with their supervisor, co-workers and the public.
  • Have the ability to perform intermediate mathematic functions, calculate figures and reconcile account information.
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • An Associate CSR must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Strong reading and writing skills are required.
  • Employee must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clerical experience is required.
