Job Description:

The Mail Processing systems Integration Specialist is responsible for the execution of integration tasks on large-scale mail processing solution deployment projects. Works in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that quality expectations are met as per project requirements and Canada Post quality standards by project work planning, status reporting, defect and issue management and system configuration and administration. Creates system documentation and training collateral and leads the implementation and maintenance of an automated integration test suite and provides on-site support during testing phases.

  • Individuals registered and working towards their CSCMP designation with a combination of experience and other relevant education may be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs and other job relevant programs.
  • Excellent communicator: experience developing and delivering presentation and / or facilitating discussions with Senior Management.
  • Combined with a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role, and/or leading a team on a high value, complex procurement.
  • CSCMP designation will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Minimum of five years of experience working in a Procurement department with the following: experience in the issuance and evaluation of RFX’s, ITT’s, extensive experience in Procurement strategies and planning, business case development, contracting experience involving complex agreements, supplier development, and extensive knowledge and understanding of the application of all applicable trade agreements and industry standards.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Finance, Purchasing or Engineering with a satisfactory business component OR a college degree of 4 or more years in purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent listener and strong client / supplier relationship management skills (Customer Service Oriented).
  • Excellent people management skills.
    Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Represents Engineering Systems team and provides technical expertise in status meetings with project stakeholders including third party suppliers and project management resources with the ability to escalate issues and identify integration risks.
  • Works closely with other functional teams and resources, such as system architects, system engineers, field services, process engineers and operators to stay current on changes to the sorting solution, deployment approaches and schedules.
  • Design, implement and maintain an automated integration test suite.
  • Documents integration processes for mail sortation equipment and recommends improvements to project leadership.
  • Adept at issue analysis and strategy development.

Job Requirements:

  • A University or college degree/diploma in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience is required.
  • Designation and or certifications programs may be required for certain positions.
