Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Data products in on-prem and cloud environments
• Optimize existing and new data products
• Participate and input into long term strategy for CTC’s Big Data ecosystem
• Act as in-house specialist for Hadoop big data technologies (Spark, Hive) – from data ingestion to the development of machine learning algorithms
• Drive the advancement of the big data analytics roadmap, with a focus on Marketing Personalization
• Autonomous hands-on delivery of advanced analytical projects, including predictive models and machine learning engines, using all types of data sources (online/offline, structured/unstructured)
• Provide guidance to more junior team members and share best practices with rest of Analytics team
• Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
• Outcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
• Action oriented, and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers and business
• Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment

Job Requirements:

• Experience with application development and scripting in Python with exposure to frameworks like Flask, Django
• Overall experience of more than 3 years on developing multi-tier applications using OOP principles and software design patterns
• Familiar with UAT process
• Experience building automated deployment pipelines
• Experience in designing and building ETL pipelines with good knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with DataBricks and Snowflake
• Familiarity with cloud platforms viz. Azure or GCP
• Proficient in optimizing Spark jobs
• Experience in TDD development
