Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn and Educate ThoughtSpot or Other BI tools (Power BI) and rollout throughout the Marks Merchandising teams
  • Build and provide ad-hoc reporting and post-mortem analysis to solve various business problems
  • Liaise with IT for business understanding of issues, requirements, and upgrades
    Support business users with Business KPI Understanding
  • Maintain data integrity and update existing data requirements, to support reporting and tools for the merchandise planning and forecasting teams
  • Assist merchandising teams to gather requirements for enhancements, process changes from implementation to execution
  • Assist with continuation of Data Lake/Snowflake Ingestion of Raw, Enterprise Layer and KPI Alignment
  • Action oriented, and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers, merchandise business teams and entire business
  • Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment
  • Well versed in Mark’s current merchandising business processes, data, key performance indicators and systems – JDA PMM and D&F,
  • Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward

Job Requirements:

  • Other assets skills include Snowflake Data Warehouse, Azure, Power Automate, Alteryx
  • Strong Skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, Visio and an asset work in Word and Power Point
  • University degree in Business, Math, Computer Science
  • Has experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail environment, CPG or equivalent
  • Strong Skills with DB SQL and an asset to understand R and/or Python
