Job Description:
To help define where and how we work, CTC has introduced Hybrid Workplace Personas. While each role fits into a different persona category, this may evolve as employees progress in their career or business needs change. The Product Coordinator position is categorized as a Maker, which means that the incumbent will be working with products, samples, technology or equipment that require frequent presence on a CTC campus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with overseas and domestic vendors and buyers regarding orders and delivery issues
- Assist in preparation of catalogues and price lists for seasonal presentations
- Work closely with the cross-functional teams at key touch points to execute design direction
- Comment on samples (for fit, performance, quality, graphics and construction)
- Work with Product Development Team to create e-comm tech/spec data for multiple customer platforms as well as Sherwood web site.
- Maintain and shipping of production samples and NHL player product
- Approval of labels, hang tags, trims and lab dips etc…
- Review Technical and Specification Packages
- Track orders – liaise with importing/logistics departments
- Perform research on key trends and innovation considering elements such as form, functionality, fabrication, materials, including user experience and identifying customer pain points.
- Assist cross functional teams in preparation for Trade Shows and customer presentations
- Inventory management, SKU creation and detailed data entry
- Sample room management including cataloging of NHL player samples and stock along with daily administrative duties as required
- Performing wear tests and fit testing on athletes. May require on ice participation
- Amend and approve Proforma Invoices as required
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in French an asset
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Excel and Power point applications
- Office environment 40%, Work independently from home 30%, on site/on ice 10%, Warehouse/physical labor duties 20%
- Hockey knowledge and playing experience (any level) considered an asset
- Athletic lifestyle
- Love to work collaboratively in a group and have an innate willingness to dig in and contribute with your team
- Sporting Goods sales and/or Sporting Goods product development experience required (retail, wholesale or manufacturing)
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Design, Business, Maths or other related field
- Action oriented and outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to succeed with minimal supervision where priorities may shift due to changing business needs
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Pride yourself on the quality of work, highly organized and detail oriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope and project teams
