Job Description:
Assist with training of staff so as to optimize sales and profit margins. Become familiar with a variety of management functions, notably inventory, buying, customer service, personnel and merchandising.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the level of inventory so as to ensure that sufficient supplies are on hand for immediate and short-term needs
- Ensure top quality customer service at all times
- Establish priorities and lists of daily tasks for employees
- Organize training seminars (in area of expertise) for personnel and prepare presentations of seminars that involve outside contributors
- Supervise sales activities
Job Requirements:
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to make decisions
- Experience in similar positions
- Strong sense of organization, planning and leadership
- Technical knowledge of hardgoods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach and built the best sales team for the store
