Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand all the pricing, product and purchase order capabilities within the Portfolio Merchandise Management (PMM) to help the business utilize them efficiently and effectively
  • Participate in UAT and provide production support for pricing development, including POST & POET systems
  • Roll-out and maintain a Franchise safety stock adjustment process
  • Learn and understand the rules and regulations pertaining to pricing compliance
  • Use MS Word and assist in maintaining pricing policy documents
  • Participate and take ownership on opportunities to take on additional tasks and projects as required by the business
  • Manage multiple work assignments in a fast paced, ever-changing business environment
  • Provide coaching to Purchase Coordinators PMM software
  • Assist with team responsibilities related to Transfer & Allocation Management and Organization Management
  • Works closely with Suppliers to manage and update purchase orders
  • Work with colleagues in the BIT team to identify issues and support solutions
  • Run basic queries, and maintain tracking forms for various processes
  • Managing the partially received Purchase Orders and provide input to the automation of this process
  • Create, support and share best practices for product management and enhancement of product processes within purchasing organization as it pertains to PMM
  • Maintain and publish regular reports to support team activities
  • Works closely with Franchise Owners to coordinate and off-program orders to suppliers
  • Be responsible for upload files for automations and support team members as required
  • Provide functional pricing support for PMM users within the Corporate and Frontline operations
  • Review and release price events and correspond with business teams regarding updates or required changes
  • Proactively identify potential problems and vulnerabilities and apply a structured approach to problem solving
  • Initiate and participate in policy and procedure development related to PMM pricing
  • Responsible for updating the Franchise Off-Program process and forms, as well as communicating the process to all stakeholders
  • Work with the Purchase Coordinators, IT and Marketing teams to help resolve data inconsistencies that could result in compliance issues or lost revenue

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work on tight timelines and due dates
  • Able to identify and solve problems
  • DB Visualizer experience is considered an asset
  • Manage multiple work assignments in a fast paced, ever-changing business environment
  • Knowledge of Canadian Tire Corporation and Mark’s environments a definite asset
  • Professional and clear communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising processes
  • JDA PMM Master Data System: merch and location related modules
  • Post-Secondary Education Preferred
  • 2-3 years in an office environment
  • Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word
