The G&A Technology Recruiting team is reinventing how we recruit senior technical engineering talent. Recruiting the right candidates for Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. G&A is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Technical Sourcer to support core tech and science tech job families.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a talent advisor educating Hiring Managers about the recruiting process.
• Partner with the recruiting manager on fostering excellence in the team’s culture and driving productivity.
• Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the ability to assess candidates, build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations.

Job Requirements:

• Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, diversity sourcing and interview process management.
• Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
• Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills

Qualification & Experience:

• 2+ years of progressive technical recruiting experience, sourcing and closing software engineering type candidates
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience & training
