Job Description: This position will be a resource for multiple modules and processes within Global Manufacturing Excellence. Specifically, this position will be the owner and primary contact for the Operator Asset Care Module and the backup to the Equipment Maintenance Module. This work will center on the development and execution of the Best Practices within GME. This position will also train and develop plant personnel on the Best Practices. Job Responsibilities: Utilize technology to enhance and improve communication and training at plant sites Own, implement, and improve the Review Processes best practices (i.e. Shift Reviews, Daily Reviews, Weekly Reviews, Monthly Reviews, etc…) Material Loss Dashboard ownership Own, implement, and improve the Operator Asset Care best practices (i.e. Finding & Fixing Abnormalities, Equipment Ownership, Safety Maps and Risk Predictions, CILs, & Centerlining, etc...) Backup to owning, implementing, and improving the Equipment Maintenance best practices (i.e. Maintenance Work Management, MRO Inventory Management, Lube Standards, Equipment BOMs, etc... Maintain training and other documentation for database/web site use. Backup to owning, implementing, and improving the Standard Work best practices (i.e. Maintenance Work Management, MRO Inventory Management, Lube Standards, Equipment BOMs, etc...) Job Requirements: BS in Engineering or related “On the Job” experience Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in development and delivery of technical training Experience in implementing Continuous Improvement methodology (Lean, TPM, etc…) Ability to serve as a technical resource on mechanical components Skill to effectively develop procedures and technical documents Plant/industrial maintenance and maintenance management skills Interpersonal skills to effectively influence and do work across organizational boundaries including corporate resources, contractors and Plant personnel. Ability to plan and execute multiple projects/activities. Database development knowledge that will facilitate efficient data collection at the plant and efficient roll-up to corporate metrics.
