Job Description: The successful candidate will provide value by building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the ConocoPhillips, Alaska business unit, understanding their needs, and managing aviation resources to meet those needs. Job Responsibilities: Ensure appropriate customer service is provided to internal and external stakeholders Provide safety leadership through promoting a culture of zero tolerance towards at-risk behaviors; identifying, reporting, and correcting potential safety issues; and intervening to immediately stop unsafe acts or situations. Ensure the appropriate use of the passenger reservations system by travel planners. Conduct audits of the system to ensure compliance with travel policies and identify areas of improvement. Engage with company Flight Operations group to understand and provide the appropriate level of operations support which include, but are not limited to; pre-flight load balancing, flight following, irregular operations, and post-flight briefings. Prepare processes and staff to effectively manage irregular operations such as weather holds, aircraft diversions, and emergency response. Provide detailed flight and passenger data analytics to stakeholders to allow for financial accounting and informed decision-making. The Operations Support Supervisor will coordinate with various entities to ensure the air transportation needs of ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc are being fulfilled in a safe and efficient manner. To accomplish this, they will lead a staff of Operations Support Specialists, which support and coordinate with; Q400, CASA & Twin Otter Flight Crews, Ticket Counter Staff, Ground Crews, Outstations, North Slope Fieldwide Travel Planners, Incident Management Teams, Community Affairs, North Slope Operations Superintendents, and commercial airlines. Job Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a commercial/military pilot, certified aviation dispatcher, or aviation maintenance technician Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals Ability to foster a positive work environment and resolve team issues effectively Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, aviation technology/management, or related discipline or foreign equivalent 3+ years of supervisory experience Working understanding of flight reservations systems (ie: Sabre, iLogistics, etc.) Experience building strong relationships based on trust and seeking opportunities to collaborate across matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals.
