Job Description:

In this role, you’ll support our department by managing your own caseload with a variety of fixed fee cases, undergoing regular training and receive support in conducting your work. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, establishing their needs and working out the best way to support them, dealing with anything from fixed-fee divorces to financial agreements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • be responsible for billing clients and processing customer cheques as well as raising invoices for any external services used
  • take first line calls from clients assessing their needs and coordinating any client correspondence
  • highlight and escalate any issues to solicitors within the team
  • Manage your own fixed fee caseload
  • take responsibility for your own post; manage any outgoing correspondence
  • Effectively utilise our case management system and follow our processes and protocols

Qualification & Experience:

  • experience within a legal role and or have recently graduated with a law degree
  • high literacy skills with excellent attention to detail
  • great communication and relationship building skills
  • top notch organisation and prioritisation skills
  • the confidence to work in a fast paced and varied role
  • a passion and ambition to help family law clients
