Job Description: This opportunity will be a part time (24 hours per week) internship within the Internal Audit Department supporting Sarbanes-Oxley 404 control testing, direct assistance audit procedures with external auditors, IT and other audit projects, and internal investigations. This will be a flexible shift, allowing you to work around your class schedule. The assignment start date is during April 2021, and will last through mid-February 2022. Job Responsibilities: Interns will be expected to perform professional internal auditing work which includes the following job responsibilities: Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing/analyzing evidence, and documenting auditee processes and procedures Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos Identify, develop, and document issues and recommendations using independent judgement concerning areas being reviewed Communicate or assist in communicating the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management Develop and maintain productive auditee and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings Assist with IT or financial audit projects and internal investigations as needed Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards Job Requirements: Completed Auditing and Accounting Information Systems courses Grade point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4-point scale) Strong written and oral communication skills Proficient in Excel Completed or pursuing a degree in any of the following majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics from an accredited institution Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships in a professional environment Must be at least 18 years of age Leadership, analytical, and teamwork skills Ability to analyze complex business issues and make sound business decisions Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale) Strong time management skills Job Details: Company: CSX Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Buffalo, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
