Job Description:

This position is part of the R10-FWS National Hire. As a Administrative Officer you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative services, advice, and counsel for a complex organization within the Fish and Wildlife Service.

Job Responsibilities:

The Administrative Officer salary will be based upon duty station and locality pay once selected. Locality tables may be found at: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/salaries-wages/2021/general-schedule/.

A total of 3 vacancies will be filled in either of the locations listed. Please Note: If selected you may be placed at a regional office, field office, current duty station or a current remote duty station at the discretion of management. Additional questions regarding placement should be reserved for the interview process.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service

  • Suitability for employment, as determined by background investigation
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
  • Time-in-Grade requirements apply to status candidates
  • LMWFA or Public Land Corps eligibles may apply
