Job Description: This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the incumbent performs a variety of tasks during procurement; designs, builds, installs, tests, accepts, and implements phases associated with Licensing Operations Division (LOD) processes; researches, analyzes, develops and implements legislation, policies and projects; evaluates existing programs for integrating with the current and future automated licensing processes; acts as the subject matter expert for LOD; evaluates and prepares recommendations for licensing programs to ensure compliance with mandated regulations; develops legislative proposals; defines and documents business requirements; reviews and analyzes legislation to advise management of the impact on the department and its licensing programs; develops, prepares and obtains approval of RFPs, FSRs, BCPs, ITPPs, SPRs, PIERs, status reports, and program and project-related documentation and correspondence; and responds to DMV management and control agencies to obtain project approval and funding.
