Job Description: This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Job Responsibilities: The Motor Vehicle Assistant (MVA) will review, sort, and file incoming mail and faxes from the public, DMV field offices, intradepartmental units and divisions, and other state agencies; maintain incoming inventory and certified and express mail - utilizing log books and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; sorts and bundle Notice of Pending Lien Sale for Vehicle valued at $4000 or less (REG 668) applications; prepare lead sheets; deliver prepared boxed documents to be scanned via the department’s document imaging process weekly; and perform other duties as required Job Requirements: Qualifications: dependable; able to multitask; detail oriented; able to meet strict timelines; customer service skills; interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication skills; able to problem solve; cashiering skills; and personal computer skills.
