In this role, you will be focused on the technology dimension and oversight of the sophisticated Energy Trading Risk Management application suite. You will provide infrastructure direction and design of all integrated and associated processes, infrastructure and systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Able to effectively balance and weigh competing priorities and determine appropriate course of action independently.
• Non-authoritative leadership skills, experience in leading others including mentoring of less experienced staff.
• Must have a consistent track record of being a clear analytical problem solver.
• Excellent project coordination, problem resolution, analytical, organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities/demands simultaneously, and ability to recognize and address workload issues.

Job Requirements:

• Direct experience working providing strategic direction for applications.
• Solid understanding of UNIX, Windows and Oracle database technology.
• Experience in supporting an enterprise level system (e.g., common system used by more than a single client group).
• Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts.
• Demonstrated experience working with technical IT resources in designing, developing, testing and implementing related solutions.
• Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, e.g., MBA, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Broad range of experience in IT project planning, process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, systems implementation and operations.
• 7 years + of progressive application experience in a client/server and/or web-based environment, IT processes, business management, and/or project management.
