Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Sr Dig Program Coordinator to join our Gas Transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the pipeline system through efficient planning, implementation, and management of integrity repair programs and pipeline pressure restrictions, and will be responsible for applying fit for purpose project management practices requiring a broad understanding of the field of engineering to ensure assigned integrity repair programs are executed according to approved scope, cost, and schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate implementation of pressure restrictions in accordance with established PI processes and procedures.
  • Ensure timely issuance of integrity mitigation programs through effective collaboration and coordination with PI Planning and Dig Execution Groups.
  • Assist with the development of annual Capital Budget and Long-Range Plan (LRP) with a focus on execution logistics, cost, and schedule.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and coordinate small teams as required.
  • Ensure pipeline integrity threats are effectively managed through application of pressure restrictions and/or repair programs, which requires problem solving by the application of standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, or using methods developed in previous personal assignments.
  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration with Operations, Gas Control, Capacity Management, Dig Execution Groups, and NDE Vendors consisting of the collection and relay of standard technical facts and analysis of business implications to drive successful execution results.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership during program execution to ensure completion of repair programs within the required deadline and achieve pipeline capacity on a priority basis.
  • Design and implement processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement on cost, schedule, quality, and risk management.
  • Ensure completion of field assessment and repair programs in accordance with approved SOP, NDE scope of work, and quality requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Proven ability to initiate and manage change, be innovative, problem solve, think strategically, and prioritize key tasks.
  • 5+ years of Project Management and Operations experience in the pipelines industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, independent, team player with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • A valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflict.
  • 7+ years of related experience in engineering program execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
