Job Description:

Are you an analytical Engineer who enjoys project coordination? As the Reliability Engineer, you will get the chance to work on meaningful projects and gain practical skills to build your future career.

The focus of the role is to improve the reliability of the Canadian and US Liquids Pipeline network by applying various reliability and statistical techniques to evaluate system and equipment performance, to build meaningful improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Document processes and communicate results through technical reports and presentations.
  • Develop and update dashboards to track reliability metrics
  • Perform reliability studies on existing infrastructure (line-specific or equipment-specific) to evaluate performance, identify areas of improvement, risk and alternative solutions where required.
  • Work with senior engineers and internal and external partners to facilitate root cause analysis on mechanical, electrical and/or instrumentation
  • equipment issues. Identify corrective actions to improve system performance.
  • Coordinate Management-Of-Change (MOC) tasks within internal team for risk identification.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Willing to learn and utilize computer software to conduct detailed analyses. Proficiency in Excel required. Power BI knowledge is an asset
  • Registered member, or eligible to register with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • University degree in Engineering.
