In this position you will serve as the strategic partner with Enterprise Major Projects organizations/functions for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Job Responsibilities: Lead the execution, sustainment and adoption of complex and robust programs/projects to meet Operations strategic priorities and objectives. Under the direction of the TIS Director develops the multiyear technology roadmap aligned to the operations strategy and overall Business Functions strategy ensuring continual alignment between TIS and the business objectives. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop the Long-Range Plans and the associated TIS capital and operational budget & resources. Partners and drives end to end solutioning with all TIS groups including project delivery teams, enterprise architecture, Infrastructure and shared service organizations to ensure project delivery meets business objects on time, within budget and to pre-determined scope. Ensure project demand is managed through TIS governance models. Partner with VMO and Supply chain to select vendors for project and program delivery Partners with the Delivery teams to set up cost effective operating models to achieve the right service levels for the business. Serves as the initial escalation point for TIS issues from the Business/function. Create a funnel of innovation opportunities and delivery of those initiatives through innovative technology. Manage IT service delivery costs and rationalize the Operations portfolio through eliminating redundant IT applications. Direct professional service organization to ensure Enbridge requirements are met within appropriate timelines and policies. Collaborates with the business team to determine the business value derived from the technology projects, ensure value is realized and is measured to that realization. Provides commitments to the business on TIS delivery dates and is held accountable to those commitments. Job Requirements: Non-authoritative leadership skills, experience in leading others including mentoring/coaching. Practical, results oriented attitude, strong team player with sense of humour. Sound understanding of functioning of Major Projects. Positive relationship management and consensus building skills. Excellent project coordination, problem resolution, analytical, organization & prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities/demands simultaneously, and to recognize and address workload issues. Drive business capability development & improvement using road mapping and business analysis techniques. Ability to interact with wide range of levels through the Enterprise coupled with strong ability to raise and resolve technical and business issues related to the Utility operations suite of applications. Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence and leadership skills. Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud/ERP, Primavera and other relevant Project scheduling, Project Management and Project execution Softwares. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to explain technology concepts and issues in a manner that business partners can understand. Able to effectively balance and weigh competing priorities and determine appropriate course of action independently. Qualification & Experience: At least 15 years of progressive related experience, e.g., IT Portfolio and Program Management, IT processes and business transformations in the areas of Major Projects. Extensive demonstrated experience in a leadership position managing physical and virtual teams. University degree in a related field, e.g., Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
