Job Description:

We are currently seeking a SCADA Support Supervisor to join our team. This role will provide front-line support to Enbridge Control Centers. This includes managing the SCADA Service Desk team, coordinating the resolution of Problem Reports and ensuring that the Control Center Operator issues are dealt with promptly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the maintenance of SCADA production and development application environments by providing technical support, improvements, and application testing.
  • Encourage resolution of problem reports, both personally and through team members
  • Provide mentorship to continuously improve support processes
  • Work closely with SCADA Support team in the planning, coordinating and delivering of service to SCADA Operations, and Control Centre
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the members of SCADA Support
  • Manage and resolve technical issues for defined business area
  • Follow SCADA standards, and operating procedures, and ensure compliance by subordinates
  • Responds to Operational Technology Information historian requests

Job Requirements:

  • You possess an undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field
  • Excellent analytical, communications, and problems solving skills
  • Demonstrable ability to lead, develop and supervise activities of the team
  • Outstanding tact and diplomacy and attention to detail
  • Solid Understanding of UNIX, C, C++, Java, and Perl programming language
  • Extensive knowledge of PROCYS, OASyS, and PI
  • High level of technical expertise in the area of process control and SCADA
  • A minimum of 8 years of directly related work experience
