Job Description:
Do you have a strong analytical mind with a broad understanding of the natural gas conservation industry? Do you understand what goes into crafting and enhancing conservation programs?
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a jurisdictional contact network among other North American utilities.
- Provide project management expertise towards ensuring on time / on budget delivery of specified projects.
- Analyze, develop and communicate data driven recommendations to support continuous improvements in both ongoing and future program design and implementation efforts.
- Use research to support the identification and design of new measures / offerings to bolster the existing DSM portfolio.
- Ensure the efforts undertaken in the Research and Innovation Fund, and through the New Measure Council are aligned with existing program/offering needs, and are in alignment with overarching sector strategies.
- Ensure data gathering and analysis efforts are coordinated with those being undertaken in other areas of the team
- Impart mentorship and leadership to broader team members.
Job Requirements:
- Related university degree (preferred economics, business, environmental studies, engineering, law or other related field).
- Positive relationship building, communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical, research and informative thinking. Skills in Excel, Power BI, or other database tools would be of additional benefit.
- Technical understanding of conservation measures, related impacts on consumer consumption and demand profiles is preferred.
- Excellent ability to summarize and synthesize sophisticated material to identify issues and develop solutions.
- 6 or more years’ experience in natural gas and the policy and legislative framework for energy in the province.
