Job Description:
Greggs is currently undertaking a huge raft of exciting technology improvements across the business. These include improvements to our Customer solutions, Retail solutions Business Intelligence and many other exciting initiatives. To support this, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in successful end to end implementations to support these.

As a Senior Project Manager, strategy, stakeholder management and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do alongside managing complex and rewarding projects.
Reporting to the Business Planning & Change Manager, the role will be responsible for the delivery of successful outcomes to our customers across the Business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the delivery adheres to the established governance and quality standards (eg. artefacts, team events and meetings, reporting, quality measures).
- Manage project and team resources (external and internal) and continually improving team dynamics and ways of working to help ensure success.
- Ensure communication to key project Stakeholders throughout the duration of projects or initiatives ensuring a high level of confidence is earned and maintained.
- Ensure all necessary controls (eg. Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Changes and Dependencies) are visible and effectively managed.
- Maintain a focus on successful outcomes and well-defined scope to prevent scope creep and gold plating.
- Agree resource requirements and timescales with the business, manage the assignment and release of resources during the course of projects and deliveries and remove team obstacles.
- Develop and manage the execution of project and delivery plans to achieve defined objectives within agreed constraints.
- Work within an established PM practice to review and exploit new ways of working and add value to the developing Greggs Business Change Strategy.
Job Requirements:
- The ability to think logically, overcome problems and interpret and present key statistical data in a way that can be understood by different stakeholder groups.
- The ability to self-starter with a proactive approach to daily tasks, overcoming problems and maintaining momentum.
- The ability to influence and get key people onboard with your vision and the ability to tell the story to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project
- Digital literacy, being proficient in standard office tools used in change management (eg. Excel, Word, Visio, PPT) and more creative use of other tools/technology to help communicate or facilitate.
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience of working in or knowledge of food-to-go or similar retail business environment.
- Excellent communication, presentational, written and organisational skills.
- Experience of successfully delivering business and technology change using practical examples to describe challenges and successes.
- Experience of working in dynamic business environments, and managing delivery of multiple initiatives in parallel.
- Experience of working in foot-to-go or similar retail business environment.
- Desirable to have Prince2 or PMP certifications
- Experience of working in Agile, product backlog environments and traditional project delivery methodologies and ability to demonstrate an understanding of the differences and pros and cons of these approaches.
