Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience in the support and maintenance of biometric hardware and software modalities (i.e. finger print, facial recognition).
  • Experience providing IM/IT Services within the Federal Public Service.
  • Recent* and significant** experience in recommending successful strategies to reduce IT incidents in a production environment.
  • Experience in the management and implementation of change initiatives, having significant impacts on Federal Departmental personnel and/or external clients.
  • Experience in the establishment of partnerships and in collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading development initiatives using current system development tools and languages such as Angular, Java, .NET, Python.
  • Recent* and significant** experience in providing strategic advice, both in writing and orally, to senior management (Director, Executive Director, Director General equivalent or higher) in relation to IM/IT services and solutions.
  • Experience with the Siebel CRM application development tool kit or Siebel CRM business intelligence tool kit.
  • Experience in developing enterprise architectures and/or solution architecture.
  • Experience in conducting IM/IT activities related to planning, organizing, directing and controlling of complex IT systems.
  • Experience in the acquisition process and contracts management.
  • Experience implementing solution using containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Open Shift, Open Stack or other Open Source cloud technologies.
