Job Description:
The Senior Analyst, Contract Specialist will work within the Legal Department and is responsible for the oversight and management of corporate level business related agreements and contracts. The Contract Specialist will interact with legal, procurement, and other stakeholders within the organization to ensure timely and accurate contract preparation and problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze existing contractual agreements in response to stakeholder inquiry
- Use best judgment in escalating non-standard requests to appropriate legal counsel
- Negotiate contract terms in conformance with Company contract playbook guidelines
- Prepare, review and modify routine contracts, including, License Agreements; Contractor Agreements; Purchase Agreements; Service Level
- Agreements; Services Agreement (ex: Services, Outsourcing, SAAS, Web Related, etc.); Statements of Work; Amendments; Renewals
- Other duties as assigned
- Foster a collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders involved in contract review and negotiation
- Work with the strategic sourcing department to provide guidance on contracts received from business partners
- Assist in the maintenance of Company contract templates
Job Requirements:
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organization skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the JetBlue organization
- Strategic collaboration with a client-first mentality
- Responsive and service-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Experience utilizing a variety of difference contract types
- Three (3) years relevant contract analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
