Job Description:

Our MI Analysts are responsible for the creation of reporting which provides stakeholders across the Contact Centre with a clear, actionable views to support

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with peers in MI, establish and maintain a flexible operating rhythm ensuring team working hours maintain the flow of reporting and are balanced to the requirements of a 7 day a week operation
  • Support the MI Manager in communicating views on new, emerging technologies that could enhance operational practices for the team
  • Support/Co-ordinate activity with the rest of the Business Intelligence team which develop “joined up views” that provide holistic, customer led but commercially/operationally balanced outputs and participate in joint debriefs to drive action
  • Continually develop knowledge of customers and the business as a key underpinning of the growth of data and reporting capability within the Contact Centre
  • Create and work with large, complex data sets that can be used to underpin continuous improvement activity
  • Responsible for the delivery of accurate reporting to deadlines
  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing the brief and prioritising workload by value
  • Develop and maintain relationships across key stakeholder groups, working collaboratively as necessary and offering potential improvements to any brief/solution
  • Responsible for the maintenance of quality standards in MI outputs and the identification of any data quality issues, taking mitigating action as relevant and engaging the MI Developers and Manager as required
  • Take time to build knowledge/awareness of wider departmental activity and developments

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced experience of creating dashboards in PowerBI is essential and knowledge of other visualisation tools beneficial
  • Have an awareness and growing understanding of ETL/data infrastructure to enable mutually beneficial working relationships with the MI Developers and reduce operational risk in terms of the data estate
  • The ability to engage stakeholders with data-led stories which identify value and drive change
  • A passion for the business impact of analysis/ensuring companies act in a colleague and customer focused and commercially balanced way
  • Strong Contact Centre or Customer Service background; the role holder will understand what data/analysis/insight is needed to drive positive change within the contact centre landscape
  • Demonstrable advanced experience of using SQL is essential (specifically PostgreSQL) and other query languages beneficial
