Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate training for Enbridge programs and initiatives and support special projects as required.
  • Ensures the consistent interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Lead and support investigations related to violations of company guidelines, policies/procedures governing employee conduct.
  • In partnership with Compensation team, provide position descriptions and job evaluation expertise in the assessment of new/or changed roles.
  • Provide frontline coaching, advice, recommendations and communications to assigned client groups, for a broad range of HR subject areas including Workforce Planning, budgeting, implementation of HR standard methodologies, performance management, talent management, total compensation and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with HR Talent Acquisition team to create and implement sourcing strategies for internal clients.
  • Counsel Leaders on proactive leadership and human resources strategies to create a productive and cooperative work environments that enhance employee engagement and facilitate the achievement of business goals.
  • Coach and mentor client leaders to manage employee issues including performance management, attendance management and other conduct related issues.

Job Requirements:

  • High degree of flexibility to adapt to multiple and competing priorities and ability to handle critical and complex situations with sound judgment, tact and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including building consensus, negotiation and facilitation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of employees across the organization (North America and International).
  • Proven ability to define obstacles, establish alternatives and recommend solutions within a context of strategic business objectives.
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) and various business applications.
  • Experience working in and with Workday and with customer relationship management (CRM) systems like Neocase is considered an asset.
  • Completed or working towards Certified HR professional (CPHR, PHR or SHRM – CP designation) is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management and a minimum of 4 years of broad HR generalist experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. MBA or other professional qualification would be considered an asset.
