Job Description:

As a key contact within the Supply Chain department, your major responsibilities will include the creation of purchase orders, analyzing reports, and resolving disputes with internal groups.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve any disputes on shipping quantities or incorrect parts received and assist in any invoice discrepancies or follow-ups when requested.
  • This role supports the Enbridge Gas Inc. (EGI) supply chain from source to point of use as well as expediting the deliveries of materials and services for all regions within the Company. This includes Purchase Order/Work Order creation for requested commodities utilizing Oracle and SCM (Supply Chain Management) tools.
  • Follow up with the appropriate parties to ensure that delivery arrangements and/or schedules negotiated between suppliers are met.
  • Analyze Oracle reports for orders that have been over-shipped and expedite any partial or undelivered materials and services.
  • Co-ordinate, verify, and process customs paperwork for imports and exports.
  • Expedite the material acquisition process and ensure all orders are received on time at the right place. Job Requirements:

  • Able to interface and communicate effectively with external and internal contacts in a professional manner.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • In-depth experience in purchasing, knowledge of warehousing and inventory control procedures.
  • Experience in customs including knowledge of federal tariffs and taxes.
  • Must possess effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access 2003 applications as well as application knowledge in Oracle Systems and SCM.
  • A minimum of a secondary school education or equivalent.
