Job Responsibilities:

• Other duties and responsibilities associated with the security department
• Work collaboratively with Operations to support security of customers’ freight
• Responsible for scheduling, payroll and SAP entry
• Responsible for Managing MyCareer for direct reports
• Assist the Security & Loss Prevention team with inquiries and investigations, securing of evidence (CCV footage, documents, found or
• Provide mentoring, training and support for the LPP
• Identify, resolve and or escalate security and personnel risks
• Assist with customer freight audits, as needed
• Responsible for hiring, training and managing performance of employees as per security, operational and HR standards and indices
• Manage, respond to and follow up on all Loss Prevention Incident Reports (LPIR)
• Maintain Site Specific and General Standing Orders
• Responsible for supervising and coaching Loss Prevention Professionals at the Ontario Hubs, GTA and Mount Hope
• seized items, etc.)
• Complete Key Performance Indicator reports to ensure process compliance and quality

Job Requirements:

• Energetic leader and ability to motivate a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel & Word
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
• Recognized security accreditation (CPO, CSS, CPP, CISSP, PSP, PCI) is an asset
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Must possess Private Investigator’s and Security Guard License
• Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity
• 3 to 5 years of security related experience
• Experience in the courier / cargo / transport industry is an asset
• 3 to 5 year of supervisory / leadership experience
• Previous experience with CCV, access control and security systems
• College education or equivalent is preferred
• Must possess class “G” drivers license
• Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Licenses
