Job Responsibilities:
- Other duties and responsibilities associated with the security department
- Work collaboratively with Operations to support security of customers’ freight
- Responsible for scheduling, payroll and SAP entry
- Responsible for Managing MyCareer for direct reports
- Assist the Security & Loss Prevention team with inquiries and investigations, securing of evidence (CCV footage, documents, found or
- Provide mentoring, training and support for the LPP
- Identify, resolve and or escalate security and personnel risks
- Assist with customer freight audits, as needed
- Responsible for hiring, training and managing performance of employees as per security, operational and HR standards and indices
- Manage, respond to and follow up on all Loss Prevention Incident Reports (LPIR)
- Maintain Site Specific and General Standing Orders
- Responsible for supervising and coaching Loss Prevention Professionals at the Ontario Hubs, GTA and Mount Hope

- Complete Key Performance Indicator reports to ensure process compliance and quality
Job Requirements:
- Energetic leader and ability to motivate a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel & Word
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
- Recognized security accreditation (CPO, CSS, CPP, CISSP, PSP, PCI) is an asset
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Must possess Private Investigator’s and Security Guard License
- Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity
- 3 to 5 years of security related experience
- Experience in the courier / cargo / transport industry is an asset
- 3 to 5 year of supervisory / leadership experience
- Previous experience with CCV, access control and security systems
- College education or equivalent is preferred
- Must possess class “G” drivers license
- Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
