Job Responsibilities:

  • You’ll also help resolve more complex issues with hardware, software, or multi media. From time to time, you’ll provide your expertise, advice and support to other IT groups, and contribute to the development, maintenance and delivery of IT projects, services and products.
  • You’ll help clients resolve hardware or software problems, even troubleshoot multi-media issues, providing service and support in person, through e-mail, or by telephone.
  • All of our work is hands-on and requires strong client service skills. We are actively building our workforce for the future – and these roles are a great gateway to other IT careers in our Information Management Technology Directorate!
  • As a Technical Service Centre Agent on our IT Service Delivery team, you’ll be keeping us up and running by providing IT client support services across the CNSC.

Job Requirements:

  • Supporting users in the Microsoft 365 Cloud environment
  • Researching and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
  • Providing client service in a team environment
  • PC architecture, computer peripheral installation and mechanical repair and peripheral interfaces
  • Determining the true nature of a problem and effectively communicating the resolution
  • Technical software/hardware support environment and practices
  • Using ticket management software
  • Administration and/or user support of cloud software and/or environments
  • Microsoft products, office automation and networking products, and their functionality in order to resolve issues
  • Analysing and resolving technical hardware and/or software problems
    Conducting in-depth research to resolve client problems

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience using Crystal Reports
  • Experience with Active Directory, MyKey/PKI, and Multifactor Authentication
  • Experience using ITIL standard operating procedures
