Job Description:

Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through commercialization. Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives. Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management. Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel. Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to determine root cause. Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
  • Follow Capital Appropriation guidelines to stay in control of project finances and asset accounting. Responsible for new asset documentation.
  • Provide guidance in the development, optimization and operation of manufacturing products to include baby and childcare products (i.e. Huggies, Pull-Ups and Goodnites).
  • Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.
  • Collaborate with the staff Program Leaders to conduct trials at the mill.
  • Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to determine root cause.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
  • Responsible for execution of projects using the standard Project Workflow Map processes.
  • Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.

  • Create and administer training material and support resources including troubleshooting guides, operation instructions, and maintenance procedures.
  • Design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.
